OUR STORY

1974 …

… Richard Nixon, 37th President of the United States, is in the 2nd year of his 2nd term until an issue known as “Watergate” would force his resignation in August of that year …

The Oakland A’s would take on the LA Dodgers in an all west coast version of the World Series and win the title 4 games to 1 for their third consecutive World Series Championship …

’74 would be the final production year for the very classy, but mechanically temperamental, Jaguar 12 cylinder XKE sports model …

… and a company named Publishers Communication Systems (now condensed to PubCom) opened its single door to a confining 2 room office space in the hope of filling what its owner believed to be a void in the magazine subscription sales industry.

PubCom has become one of America’s small business success stories. Throughout the years, PubCom managed to grow its network of services in subscription clearing service and sales development center; contributing to the circulation interests of numerous titles that we are privileged to represent.
